Project Title: One Person at a Time: Self-Directed Housing

Diana McCourt, a 2004 FAR Fund Fellow, has developed a project to implement sustainable, self-directed housing for individuals with developmental disabilities, including those on the autistic spectrum.  A grant from the FAR Fund will help six adults on the autistic spectrum and their families establish self-directed housing in New York City. The project will contract with the Center for Urban Community Services to locate affordable supportive housing.  Job Path will house the project and provide guidance and administrative support during the pilot phase.
